Due to the Covid19 Level 4 lockdown our North Island Industry Professional Development Day in Napier this Friday August 20th has been postponed.


Wool Clip Grading Course June 2021

The June Course has now been cancelled.


NZ Cert in Wool Technology and Classing – next course Feb 22

Due to high demand this year, SIT have established another course starting on July 5.


WRONZ Scholarships for Telford Students

The 2020 recipients of WRONZ Scholarships for Telford Students have been celebrated in the Southland Institute of Technology’s 2020 annual report.

Grading course pilot a huge success

Fourteen wool harvesters attended the inaugural Southland Institute of Technology (SIT) wool clip grading course held at Telford recently, the first National approved certificate offered to wool harvesters for over four years.
