Mitchell Young

I currently live in Timaru with my wife Janna and three sons; twins Charlie and Noah and Lachlan. I am passionate about ensuring that in the future my children see wool as the product of choice. Along with a BCom for the University of Otago I have also completed the New Zealand Certificate of Wool Technology through the Southern Institute of Technology which gave me a further understanding and appreciation of wool and all its brilliant qualities.

I look forward to helping maintain the relationship between the NZWCA and the processing industry which is crucial in ensuring that wool is presented in such a way that it can be processed to a high standard and keep New Zealand’s reputation of producing some of the best wool inn the word intact.
