Tena koutou katoa,

I sat my first ticket in fine wool in Kurow in 2007 with Kerri Capehill and Robin Murry and by 2009 had completed a certificate in Wool Technology. I spent 9 years on the road in NZ Wool Industry as a Wool Handler then came home due to health problems  and have spent the last 8 years working with the homeless and running a Charitable Trust to which there have been many challenges. Im also the director of Dragon Vines Ltd, and hopefully later will be joining the NZ Shearing Contractor Association.

Due to the work that I do with our Charitable Trust, looking after retired shearing industry workers, and helping those in our industry with any housing issues and help that they may need  I have returned to the industry and decided to take up my wool classing learning again. I am resitting the Certificate in Wool Technology through the Southern Institute of Technology. These days as part of our trusts future plans I am  working toward a National Treaty of Waitangi Redress Settlement Hui and part of that claim will be to hopefully bring hundreds of thousands more sheep into the top of the South as part of our claim.

Other than that I am currently working on Civil Law studies to help fund our  aspirations. We hope the outcome for extending our wool industry will be one of great victory and invite all who are interested to hear what the future brings for an increase in sheep for the top of the South to contact me for details of updates on our public speaking events.

Nga mihi
